Pila is a demountable coffee table made of lacquered wood and colored mirror, carefully crafted by artisans from Lazio.
Created as a tribute to the genius of Roman art, the shapes are inspired by aqueducts: three large central legs act as pillars (a word from which the product takes its name) that support and unite the upper mirror shelf with the lower one. The legs not only serve an essential constructive function; rather, they provide compartments in which to neatly place books and magazines. The mirror present in the upper and lower shelf is intended to reflect the world around, such that, it may be the objects that give a soul to the table that is presented with bare and essential geometric shapes.
It is possible to have the coffee table in oak or fully lacquered wood version.
